This year, the Homework Club will be available for students for one hour after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15PM to 4:15PM. The purpose of the Homework Club is to assist students with improving results through developing better study habits, including time management skills and use of resources.

Funding granted through the Sidney Myer foundation has enabled the school to provide:
  • a quiet workplace for students to do their homework
  • access to the internet
  • supervision and teacher support
  • afternoon tea.
Students participating in the Homework Club will be required to:
  • bring their diary to show their learning goals and planning to achieve their goals for each week
  • come prepared with resources needed for an hour of quiet work
  • demonstrate their efforts to achieve their goals.
For purposes of student safety, students will be required to register for the Homework Club and sign on each time they attend. Student wishing to participate must return the completed form below to Ms Bishop in the library.
The school will also provide information sessions and workshops with afternoon tea for parents/ guardians and carers. These will address some of the issues and complexities associated with managing homework demands of secondary school students.
