Homework Club

The Homework Club will be available for students for one hour after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15PM to 4:15PM every week  The purpose of the Homework Club is to assist students with improving results through developing better study habits, including time management skills and use of resources. 

The program is jointly funded by the school and the P&C and provides
Students participating in the Homework Club will be required to:a quiet workplace for students to do their homework
  • access to the internet
  • supervision and teacher support
  • afternoon tea.
  • bring their diary to show their learning goals and planning to achieve their goals for each week
  • come prepared with resources needed for an hour of quiet work
  • demonstrate their efforts to achieve their goals.
For purposes of student safety, students will be required to register for the Homework Club and sign on each time they attend. Student wishing to participate must return the completed form below to Ms Bishop in the library.

Science Ambassadors
The Scicence Ambassadors are a group of students with a passion for STEM that assist EPSHS to promote STEM education at our school and in our communities. The group attends local primary schools and community event such as fete’s and open days demonstrating the great STEM works happening here at Everton Park State High School

XLR8 STEM Club
Runs on Wednesday afternoons after school for all students interested in STEM. STEM Club participate in interschool STEM competitions around Brisbane

Tennis Club
Tennis is on Wednesday afternoons from 3.15 until 4.15 pm. Students need to bring a cap and a water bottle. My goal for the students is to get outdoors, be active and have fun on the court. I strive to create a healthy, happy and inclusive environment for students of all levels and for them to enjoy a life-long sport in tennis. A tournament will be held in Term 4 for those students who would like to compete. There is no cost and tennis racquets and balls are provided. Students are to see me for a Permission Letter if they wish to play.

Games Club
Games club is a lunchtime activity where all manner of board games are enjoyed

ART Club
Art Club meets on Monday afternoons from 3.15 to 4.30pm and apart from individual projects use this time to help create artwork and sets for our annual musical production
